Service Description

The 30-Day IEP Catch-Up Plan is a targeted service for students who are: New transfers (district, charter, or homeschool model) Experiencing gaps in services Missing evaluations, supports, or finalized plans Waiting on a delayed or incomplete IEP SPERO conducts a focused review of records and timelines to determine what should already be in place under IDEA. From there, we develop a clear, step-by-step 30-day plan to bring the IEP back into compliance and functionality. Parents receive: A compliance timeline outlining required actions and deadlines A checklist of missing or incomplete components A meeting script to guide conversations with the school Clear guidance on what to request, when, and from whom Support distinguishing between eligibility issues vs. failure to implement This service is especially valuable when families feel stuck in “waiting mode” and need a concrete plan to move the process forward quickly and lawfully.
